Take a day to explore the sea life and charm of the smaller islands. Experience the magic as you wade and swim with the stingrays before lunch on Green Turtle Cay. Green Turtle Cay is one of the pristine islands that make up the 120 mile long Abaco archipelago.

Enjoy your own packed lunch as you admire the British signature architecture or choose from the many seafood options of the Green Turtle Resort and Marina.

After lunch you will head for your adventure of swimming with the pigs. Listed as one of the Seven Things to Not Miss if you’re visiting the Bahamas, this experience will be etched in your memory for a lifetime. As you approach the little island you will see a beach filled with little pigs, big pigs, and spotted pigs! You are encouraged to bring fresh fruits and vegetables to help support the feeding of the pigs.

Elbow Cay was very isolated until the Marsh Harbour Airport was built in 1959. Residents survived by fishing, trading, and salvage of ships wrecked on Elbow Reef. It is home to Hope Town, a small village that boasts one of the last operational kerosene-fueled lighthouses in the world. It is also home to the famous Breadfruit Tree planted by Captain William Bligh in the 1700’s. On your half day exploration, walk and shop the narrow streets of Hope Town, tour the lighthouse, and find lunch at the Hope Town Inn, Wine Down Sip-Sip, or maybe the Hope Town Harbour Lodge. Hope Town is yours to discover!
